Edinburgh Castle

Situated atop a volcanic crag, this castle has an undeniably imposing presence, dominating the cityscape. Its history is long and fascinating, and the castle remains largely unchanged since the 18th century.

Calton Hill

This has been described before as Scotland's Acropolis, and with good reason. This area rises above the eastern end of Princes St. offering a spectacular panoramic view of the city.
