Alghero

The port of Alghero is said to be the best place for fresh seafood on the island. Its lush harbor is adorned with olive and eucalyptus trees as well as umbrella pines.

Nuraghe Palmavera

Palmavera is has many of the more than 7,000 cone-shaped stone towers dotting Sardinia. This Nurgahe archeology was erected by the Nuraghi culture during the second millennium B.C.

Grotto of Neptune

One of the largest cave formations in Europe resides on Sardinia. This deep marine cave's dramatic grotto lies beneath the sheer cliffs of Cape Caccia.
